On Cloudrunner
On-cloud is a brand that makes running shoes. Not just ordinary shoes, but super lightweight that make you feel like you're running on clouds. Together with a small team we have provided 'On-cloud' with a new cool look. In this project we used a 3D scan tool to scan the shoe in order to get it as perfect as possible and correct in the animation.
Storyboard
As you can see, the storyboard is built from existing images that we found on the web. The story in the storyboard has been modified in the process by customer feedback.
3D Scan
We used the app "Polycam". It is a 3D capture application that creates high-quality 3D models from photos with any iPhone or iPad, and rapidly generate scans of spaces with the LiDAR sensor.
3D modeling
To get the hyperrealism we use a powerful render engine from 'OTOY', called 'Octane render' in the 3D program 'Cinema 4D'.
